Extra Details | Hilton Wrigley was the builder of highly crafted frames, from the early 50s through to the mid 60s. He produced the frames in the small village of Marsden,situated on the edge of the Moors leading from Huddersfield to Oldham. Many of the leading Huddersfield riders of the era, such as Brian Haskell. Tom Oldfield, Dennis Scholes, and Ken Balmforth, rode on Wrigleys in the early part of their careers, Haskell & Scholes who were both skilled sheet metal workers helped in the small workshop doing tasks such as filing lugs etc. |
