Major Nichols 'Record' - 1970
Posted: Wednesday 19th August 2020
This frame was given to me by it’s original owner, Mike Hazelwood of the Saracen R.C. We raced with each other back in the 1960s and 70s. He had loaned it out in 1977, and only got it back last year. It was in a very sorry state, and it needed a new pair of chain stays before refinishing by Argos Cycles in Bristol. This was exactly like the original finish, as was my 1973 model 7383. I rebuilt the bike recently, and am hoping to ride it on the Major Nichols ride out this year.
