I purchased this frame in 2004 from Jeff Robinson, for whom it was built by Theo Parsons. For fifty years Jeff used the frame both for racing, and daily transportation. For more information on Theo Parsons, and this frame, see Theo Parsons under ‘Classic Frame Builders’ and page 6 of The Squirrel, Christmas 2005 (PDF file).
Theo’s brother Norman was a founding member of the North Cotswold Cycling Club. Norman’s son, Derek Parsons, has created a marvelous web site about the Club: http://www.cotswoldcycling.co.uk. Theo was also a member of the Club, and on the opening page of the web site, a young Theo is shown astride his bicycle, fifth from the right.
