Hampshire Lightweights - Fishbourne  Opening  Event.  
Post code for start point PO19 3QR - Fishbourne Roman Palace, nr Chichester, 10:00 am for 10:30 depart.
All welcome for this social run around the flatlands and coast of South West Sussex. Lunch on Thorney Island and Ice Creams at Bosham on the return. Come along on your Jack Taylor and visit what’s left of the spiritual home of all those bikes produced in Stockton on Tees.  23 miles circuit of Stockton mostly on good cycle tracks and urban cyclepaths.

THE RIVER TEES RIDE.  
25 miles, Some rough tracks. Hartlepool to the River Tees and back.  Refreshment stop at Tees Barrage Café.  Then along the south bank of the river to the Transporter Bridge and back up Tees Road to Hartlepool.

Our annual tour through the lanes and villages of the Meon Valley, lunch at a traditional pub, tea back at Bishops Waltham. Easy pace 30-35 miles best suited to machines with gears. Hampshire Lightweights - Mid Week New Forest Meander.
Post code for start SO43 7GL Furzey Gardens, Lyndhurst. 10:00 am for coffee, 10:45 depart. A lovely 35 mile run through the New Forest up to Bolderwood, along the Ornamental Drive to Brockenhurst and lunch at Beaulieu before making our way back to Minstead for tea. An easy pace ride of 30-35 miles along quiet lanes and cycle paths for marques made in and around Birmingham, all other marques of course extremely welcome, this run suitable for single speed machines as the hills are not challenging. Hampshire Lightweights - “Okay, let’s go!” The D-Day Revival Ride.
Post code for start point PO16 8ST Wallington, Fareham, Hants. 09:30 am for 10:00 depart. . Visiting places of historic interest related to Operation Overlord, this ride will use minor roads in the South Downs National Park. Traditional pub lunch. Tea on the return leg at the 40s revival event (Google “Southwick Revival 2018”) in the beautiful and interesting “D-Day village” of Southwick, one of Britain’s last remaining feudal settlements. Seafront cafe to seafront cafe, first stop anarchitecturally interesting East Beach Cafe then through quiet villages to Felpham and William Blakes cottage and the Loberster Pot Cafe. Hampshire Lightweights - Tisbury Meander Ride
Post code for start point SP3 5EL The Penruddocke Arms, Hinton Road, Dinton, Wilts, SP3 5EL.
09.15 for 10.00 SHARP DEPART. Start from a pub that opens early to serve tea and biscuits, even a bacon sandwich if you are lucky. It’s a splendid route through wonderful traffic free countryside, on mostly forgiving roads enhanced by a couple of majestic descents.  Lunch stop at a traditional English country pub with a varied menu. The brave will use single speed, but we would recommend gears. About 32 miles of attractive terrain, two hills of consequence which most of us will walk. No modern machines please. Carpenter bikes and all other Classic British and continental lightweights welcomed for our annual ride, led this year by Richard Williamson.
Rendezvous Brockham Green Church.RH3 7JH ( near to A25 close to Dorking)
Time: 09:30 for 10:00 start. Sufficient parking in roads nearby.
Route: Capel - Ellens Green - Rudgwick. Approx 35 miles total. Fixed wheel friendly, just one short hill.
Cake stop - The Milk Churn, Rudgwick, RH12 3DH. Return:  back in Brockham early/mid pm.
