Mercian Campionissimo frame No: 43660. (1960)
 Frame: 22½" seat tube and 22½" top tube with 42" wheelbase.
Double-butted Reynolds 531 with Original ruby red flam paintwork and cream lug lining, chromed forks and chain stays with original Mercian decals.
Fiamme 32/40 sprints with Campagnolo small-flange straight lever Record hubs with Vittoria tubular tyres
Chainset TA Professional alloy wedge cottered cranks with double rings 49/52T
Pedals Chater-Lea Sprint
Gears Campag Gran Sport 5-speed front and rear with down-tube levers
Brakes Universal 61 centre-pull levers and calipers
Stem/Bars Stratalite Maes with cloth tape/Velox bar plugs. GB alloy 4½" stem
Saddle Brooks B17 Narrow on alloy seat pin
Extra details Carradice saddle bag and Apex Ultralite pump.  The cycle was acquired from a V-CC member who was selling it on behalf of a friend who was unable to ride anymore and wished to turn his old cycle into a holiday!  It had been used for time trials.
