Hetchins Magnum Bonum, frame No. 8116 - 1956; 23" seat tube; extra strengthening struts to seat and chainstay for time trialling/sprinting; Campagnolo 'long' ends; Original invoice dated 22/9/1956.
Was originally maroon flamboyant, now black.
Fiamme sprint rims on Prior hubs with Simplex quick-release levers, Vittoria tubs
Chainset Stronglight 49D cranks with TA ring 44 teeth
Pedals Lyotard pedals, Ale clips, Christophe straps
Gears Campag Velox 5-speed rear derailleur and lever
Brakes Mafac Racer callipers, tandem rear blocks (longer) with Mafac drilled levers
Stem/Bars GB Maes bars on Milremo stem 
Saddle Wrights Olympian saddle on Campag Gran Sport seat post at 27.2

2009 L`Eroica alloy bottle:  I rode this in Italy last year on the 75km  L`Eroica course, the machine still has the event number on it.
This machine originally belonged to Jim Hanning of the Vegetarian CC.  I bought it from Len Goff 11 months ago.
