Gillott L'Atlantique - 1950

Frame Gillott L’Atlantique Frame number  501433- 1950 -  21” road frame with oval to round forks. 22” top tube; 17 ¾” chain stays, welded frame, head badge and Gillott seat tube transfer. The down tube however has 'L'Atlantique'  transfer (14cm) in ‘Gillott’ type script, small 'Gillott' on each fork blade, cable eyes under top tube, a gear lever boss plus two eyes, in front of and behind BB plus an eye towards the rear of chainstay.  Grey with white seat panel.
Wheels 27” Fiamme sprint rims on Airlite G/F LF hubs, 15/17 spokes
Replaced for winter by 700 Mavic HP rims 0n Airlite SF hubs with mudguards
Chainset BSA  6½” double fluted cranks with 40t ring
Pedals Lyotard Marcel Berthet platform pedals with Christophe toeclips and straps
Gears Simplex 4-speed Tour de France with 15 – 24 freewheel
Brakes GB Hiduminium alloy with early GB Superhood levers
Stem/Bars Chrome Titan stem with  Maes/Kint style alloy bars.
Saddle Brooks B17 Swallow

BSA 6½" double fluted cranks with 40t ring and Lyotard Marcel Berthet pedals with Christophe clips
